behind in posting but sick

I know I am behind in posting but I am very sick today (joint pain, throwing up...) Brock even had to stay home to take care of me. I just wanted to let everyone know I will post and tell you all about last week but just not today!

Easy Monday

I think Claire is trying to give up her morning nap and I am just not sure what to do about it- what I mean is that I don't know when to switch to put her down at a later time. I have tried for a week now to put her down at 9:30 when she used to and all she does is talk and play in the crib. I leave her there for almost an hour. Then she wants to go down around 12:30 for 2-2.5 hours which is fine but then around 5 she is tired again but then I am afraid to put her down because bedtime is 7. So we will see what happens I guess, when she is tired she will sleep I know but at the same time I am big on getting enough sleep and I hate when she is fussy tired at 5 b/c that is when Brock is getting home and I want her happy for him!

In other news we had a couple that we met at Lamaze class over for dinner saturday- it was a nice time and I hoping we can have some weekly/bi-weekly play dates. We also had Daniel and Dennae over for dinner and bible study last night so it was a good weekend.

B/c we had company my house is pretty clean, I made a bit of baby food this morning and now am going to work on a monthly meal plan. We have to work on getting our grocery bill lower so I am goign to try the monthly meal plan idea and a price book to compare prices between Aldi/Kroger and Publix. Off to work on that, have a great day,
